Start an online Facebook event for your guests
Select an online event format below to learn how to start an event for your guests.
Start your online event
Facebook LiveStarting the event from the event page notifies your guests that the event is starting and how to join it.
- From your Feed, click
Events in the left menu. You may have to click See More first.
- Click Your Events, then click Hosting.
- Select your event, then click Live Video.
- Review the settings.
- Optional: Add a title and a description that's posted to the event with the video.
- Click Go live now.
- When you're ready to stop, click End Live Video.
