Add or remove a mobile phone number from your Facebook account
You can add or remove a mobile phone number from your account in your settings. We recommend that you always add an email to your account to help you gain access to your account in case you ever lose access to your mobile phone.
Add a mobile phone number
  1. Tap Menu in the top right of Facebook.
  2. Tap Settings, Settings & privacy, then tap Settings.
  3. Tap See more in Account Center, then tap Personal details.
  4. Tap Contact info, then tap Add new contact.
  5. Tap Add mobile number.
  6. Enter the mobile number you'd like to add, then choose the accounts you'd like to add this number to.
  7. When you add a number, you may be asked to enter a confirmation code. If you don't get a text message with a confirmation code, check to make sure you've turned on mobile texts.
  8. Enter your confirmation code and tap Next, then tap Close.
Remove a mobile phone number
  1. Tap Menu in the top right of Facebook.
  2. Tap Settings, Settings & privacy, then tap Settings.
  3. Tap See more in Account Center, then tap Personal details.
  4. Tap Contact info, then tap on the mobile phone number you'd like to remove.
  5. Tap Delete number, then tap Delete to confirm.
  6. You may be asked to re-enter your Facebook password. Enter your password, then tap Continue.
