  2. Select Get started and follow the on-screen steps.
We may ask you to confirm your identity.
If you can’t access your account to unlock it
If your account is locked but you can’t log in to Facebook to unlock it, we can help recover your account.
If you don't get a code to confirm your account
If you're having trouble receiving codes to your phone or email address:
  • Sometimes the confirmation codes may take longer to arrive. If you’ve requested several codes already, wait a day before trying again.
  • Make sure that you're checking the correct phone number or email address for the codes.
  • Check your spam folder.
  • If you requested to get a code on your phone and you don't see it, check the blocked messages on your phone. Your phone may be screening or blocking confirmation code texts.
  • Check your phone's network connection. A poor network connection may be the reason you’re not receiving a code.
  • Check to make sure your phone has enough space to receive an SMS confirmation text.
  • Try restarting your phone.
  • Contact your carrier to check your mobile plan. Sometimes your mobile plan may affect the type of messages you can receive. Ask your carrier what kind of message your current plan allows you to receive.
